The amount of rainfall can completely overwhelm Phnom Penh’s drainage system. Shortly before this video I remember passing by a shop in which we’d just bought some two-way radios a few hours before. The owners were bailing water out of the shop back into the street in an effort to keep their shop from being completely flooded.
